Future Dentists in Action: Bilateral Clinical Exchange Programme 2025

On 4 September 2025, the campus of Fakulti Pergigian, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) buzzed with excitement. Dental students from Malaysia and Taiwan gathered for the Malaysia–Taiwan Bilateral Clinical Exchange Programme, eager to learn, share, and connect.

One of the highlights of the day was the Class IV Anterior Composite Resin workshop led by Dr. Hetal Ashvin Kumar. With sleeves rolled up and tools in hand, students dove into the hands-on session, practicing restorative techniques that are essential in modern dentistry.

Tools That Make a Difference

What made this session even more special was the use of MANI diamond burs, trusted instruments that allowed participants to refine their technique with precision. For many students, it wasn’t just another workshop — it was a chance to work with high-quality tools that professionals around the world rely on.

Learning Beyond Borders

The programme wasn’t just about polishing technical skills. Students from Malaysia and Taiwan came together in a spirit of friendship and collaboration, learning not only from the workshop but also from each other. Conversations flowed, cultural insights were shared, and bonds were built — reminding everyone that dentistry is as much about people as it is about practice.

Our Role in Shaping the Future

At MANI Malaysia, we feel privileged to support initiatives like this. By contributing to programmes that combine clinical training and cultural exchange, we hope to play a small but meaningful role in shaping the next generation of dentists.

The Bilateral Clinical Exchange Programme is more than an event — it’s an experience that leaves lasting impressions, both in skills learned and friendships made. And we are honoured to be part of that journey.
