Advancing Endodontic Excellence: Inside Malaysia’s Historic SOHSS 2026 Workshop

Breaking records in Keningau, Sabah, for the nation’s largest government endodontic training event.

KENINGAU, SABAH — On February 6, 2026, the local dental community witnessed a monumental step forward in continuous clinical education. MANI Asia was deeply honored to participate in the pre-conference endodontic workshop at the Sabah Oral Health Scientific Symposium (SOHSS) 2026, organized in proud collaboration with the Malaysian Endodontic Society (MES)

A Milestone for Malaysian Dentistry

This year’s pre-conference workshop wasn’t just another date on the dental calendar—it was a historic achievement. Welcoming 71 dedicated participants, the event officially marked the largest government endodontic workshop ever held in Malaysia.

This incredible turnout reflects a growing, nationwide commitment among dental professionals to elevate their clinical standards and master complex endodontic treatments. For MANI Asia, being part of this milestone aligns perfectly with our core mission: empowering practitioners with the precision and reliability they need to deliver exceptional patient care.

Masterclasses in Managing the Complex

The success of the workshop was driven by the exceptional leadership and expertise of two highly distinguished figures in the field: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mark Low Jun Fay and Lt. Kol. Dr. Muhammad Khiratti Mat Zainal.

Throughout the intensive session, both specialists generously shared their deep clinical insights, guiding participants through the nuances of managing highly challenging endodontic cases. Their hands-on approach and evidence-based strategies provided attendees with practical, actionable techniques to overcome anatomical hurdles and ensure successful outcomes in their daily practices.

A Shared Vision for National Oral Health

Ultimately, the driving force behind this record-breaking gathering was a unified goal: improving oral health for the nation.

Equipping 71 practitioners with advanced endodontic problem-solving skills has a profound compounding effect on the communities they serve. MANI Asia remains steadfast in our support of these educational initiatives, recognizing that when we invest in the skills of our dental professionals, we invest in the health and well-being of the public.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the SOHSS organizing committee, the Malaysian Endodontic Society, our esteemed speakers, and every participant who made this historic workshop a resounding success.
