Uses of D-Finders:

2. Penetration of Narrowed & Calcified Canals – Specifically designed for root canals narrowed by calcification.
3. Reaming Motion – Uses a rotary cutting motion of 1/4 to 1/3 turn for effective canal preparation.
4. Prevention of Screwing Effect – Cutting flutes are shaped to avoid excessive cutting that could cause binding.
5. Increased Buckling Resistance – D-shaped cross-section enhances strength and resilience, improving penetration force.
